Meet the McNeils
Identical twins Jim McNeil (below, pictured right) and John McNeil (below, pictured left) have been running the shop side by side for more than five decades. Whether you’re planning your wedding or preparing for a big job interview, Jim and John are exactly who you want guiding your wardrobe choices. Known affectionately as “The McNeil Boys,” they’ve built a reputation for their unwavering commitment to customer service and are true icons in the menswear industry.
Casey McNeil (below, pictured center)—Jim’s son and third-generation haberdasher—has been part of the shop practically since he could walk. After college, Casey spent 15 years in finance before returning home to Vermont, drawn back by a growing family and a deep love for the shop’s legacy. With a fresh perspective shaped by his years in corporate America, Casey now serves as the shop’s buyer and is leading its continued evolution. He’s been behind many of McNeil & Reedy’s most exciting updates, from the 2021 renovation to the introduction of new product lines.

Large panes of glass show off uniquely displayed and always stylish men's clothing and accessories. Walking up the vestibule you start to sense the passion and quality of the fabrics displayed on the mannequins flanking the door.
Step through the original wood-and-glass door and you’ll likely be greeted with a warm smile from Casey, Jim, or John McNeil. Inside, a blend of vintage and modern displays creates an inviting atmosphere, while the original tin ceilings stand as a timeless nod to the shop’s rich history.
The garments and accessories in the store are always changing. Jim and John search the globe for superior fabrics and styles while ensuring products are ethically manufactured and responsibly distributed.
